I am so grateful for this boy. He fills my life with so much joy. He is incredibly sensitive and wants so much to be good. He is a thinker and asks the most amazingly intuitive questions. He is handsome on the inside and the outside. His baptism was an amazing experience to see the wonder and happiness in his face as he came up from the water. It meant a lot to him and me to see all the people who made the effort to come. I did this mini photo shoot with him a couple of weeks before his baptism day. We were chasing the light so it was hard to get the photos I had in my mind. Asher wanted to have his sword that Carter whittled and painted in some of the pictures - he likes the putting on the armor of God visual. I really hope that he will have the spiritual weapons he will need as the fight between good and evil is heating up like never before.
He loves his new scriptures from Grandma and Grandpa Madigan.
He has wanted a safari/fishing vest for years and I finally found one in time for his birthday.
I am still not totally sure that getting Asher an airsoft gun was the best idea but JJ insisted that is what he wanted to get him. Asher is still pretty afraid of shooting it and getting shot by it.
