Hannah participated in her 4th grade program. It was songs, memorized parts, dances etc to showcase some of the things they have learned this school year.

The elementary hosted a boys movie night at Lehi High. We went to eat a Johnny Rockets first. They had good food but not the best service. After dinner we headed to the movie. It was Swiss Family Robinson. It was hard for people with good eyes to see because of the poor quality of the movie. It was SUPER hot in the auditorium. JJ had broken his glasses so he couldn't see much of anything even when we moved up to the front row. Asher had forgotten to wear his glasses so he couldn't see to well either. None of us really enjoyed the show. It was not really the type of show most elementary boys would enjoy much but Mr. Miller the principal insisted on it because it was his favorite show growing up. Oh well the kids won a couple of prizes and were happy about that.
This is Elsa and she likes to sit on our shoulders. She flies up there on her own and if you turn and look at her while she is up there - she pecks you in the eye.
Dance Festival!
I was helping out with the kindergarteners so Lance had my camera and took a few pictures before the show started. My camera was set for different lighting so that is why Asher's hair looks blue here.
Insert Wookie sound here.
Hannah doing her ballroom showcase.
One of Hannah's big assignments was the Wax museum. Since we were going out of town during the day her class was doing it we persuaded her teacher to allow her to do it ahead of time, I posted the video of her presentation on another post.
The sixth grade walked from the school to Jack and Jill bowling alley and had a fun afternoon playing laser tag and bowling.
This is the 6th grade graduation ceremony. I posted more about this on another post too.
Memorial Day!
We kept the tradition of visiting the Brigham city cemetary alive on Memorial day.
The end of May means Teacher appreciation and I was Mrs. Wykstra's room mom so that means decorating her door. I tried to get the kids to help me by decorating socks - it was harder than you would think to get them to decorate a lonely little sock.
One of my callings right now is Relief Society Activities night coordinator person. I put together a get to know you dinner and had the person I asked to do decorations bail out at the last second so I had to made do with what was available and that was fake yellow flowers, canning jars and lemon heads.
Lance has been on TV a lot lately. Not his favorite thing to do but he always does a good job.
I also went to the Utah PTA conference at BYU with Missy in preparation for being the secretary for the PTSA at Willowcreek Middle School. I really enjoyed the message given by Richard and Linda Eyre about parenting and involvement.
