Loosing teeth left and right, up and down!
Lance coached his soccer team again. He had some old friends and made a few new friends this time around. He struggled with one particularly aggressive boy who had a tough time following the rules. Asher has no fondness for rule breakers!
Asher knew only one boy on his basketball team this year - Mason Mingo, from our ward. It was nice for him to have someone he recognized.
Asher wanted to be a ninja yet again this year. Something about it really appeals to him!
Asher started complaining of not being able to read the board at school so with our genetics we decided it was time to take him in to get his eyes checked. Sure enough he has an astigmatism like Lance and JJ but not a really high prescription yet. We did get a somewhat surprise though - found out he is color blind to certain hues of red and green. I had wondered because he is constantly asking me what color crayons, markers etc are. It isn't a huge deal but it does rule out some careers for him - police, pilot etc. After informing his teacher of this she laughed and said that it explained some things she had noticed - like him arguing with his table mates about the color of certain crayons. I have read up on it a little but there really isn't much out there that I could find. I have just realized that either he or I need to make sure that his teachers know about it so that he doesn't get in trouble for picking up the wrong color of paper or if they use colors as a part of a specific assignment. Some things I have read said that it is not uncommon for people with color blindness to struggle with reading. He definitely does that but I am not really seeing where the correlation would be.
Brothers with twinner glasses - at least until JJ broke his and had to get new ones.
Daddy and Asher loving BYU basketball games!
This kid LOVES animals so much. I find him laying on the floor with this spoiled pug all the time just hugging him and snuggling.

Lehi Elementary Christmas Sing is one of my favorite things about Christmas - Asher is pretty silly when he knows I have a camera.
No more sitting on Santa's lap. He will tell him what he wants for Christmas but won't sit on his lap. Kinda sad that my baby is growing out of this phase.
Asher guzzling sparkling apple cider at the Zeller's house New Years Eve. He could drink a case of that stuff all by himself.
He's a LEGO lover just like his brother and sister.
These two are the best of friends. They really don't fight much at all. They are SO silly together.
Asher and his lil chick!
He likes getting his hair cut especially if Sis. Dunn is the one doing it. This cut makes his inner ninja come out.
Asher and one of his best buddies Taylor Price at Taylor's baptism. It was a great preview for Asher to help prepare for his own baptism. It got him very excited!Asher was beyond excited to visit the new Aquarium!
Wearing mommy's galoshes!
Mommy, Daddy and Asher date night to Pizza Pie Cafe. Love that silly face.Asher got to be spotlighted and show some of his special possessions with his class. I brought Jax too but didn't get a picture of that because Jax was way to hyper.
This is Asher - he is sorting his plastic animals into classification families and using one of his animal books to make sure he is getting it right.
Happy Easter! He still likes to be silly, snuggle with new stuffed animals and eat chocolate bunnies! He wanted a bow tie this year for his Easter outfit - just like Jaxon Zeller.
Having loads of fun with family at South Fork park up Provo Canyon for Easter.
Asher's favorite movie is RIO so when RIO 2 came out he was super excited to go see it. It was a bit of a disappointment but we still had fun.
For spring break we decided to go to Trafalga. Asher got brave and attempted the rock wall with Hannah. He didn't go up too far but I was really proud of him for trying something new. He also tried the Frog Hopper with Hannah and was crying by the time the ride was over. He was NOT a fan. Big thanks to Amanda Avinia for sending me the photos she took of this cute group of boys at their Hogle Zoo field trip.
Asher had long outgrown his bike - he looked like a clown riding a tiny bike! So he upgrade him to a new bike. The kids ride their bikes a ton - especially back and forth to school so it was totally worth it!
Hanging out at Johnny Rocket's for a Mommy and sons date.
Our chick have grown up and this one - Elsa- is very friendly.
Dance festival is a lot of work for the students and teachers but it always give me chills because it is so cool! Asher's grade got to dance to the hit song Happy by Pharrell. He's loving his bow and arrows from Christmas and getting to be a really good shot.
Field day was super hot this year so Asher took every chance he could to get soaked!
A huge thanks to Mrs. Ash who made this year such a positive one for Asher. She helped him so much to gain more confidence in the academic areas he struggles in. She is an amazing person and teacher.
