I was pretty disappointed by this book - Dandelion Wine is one of my all time favorite books and so I was hoping this sequel would at least be on par with it. But alas no such luck. There are moments of where the prose is so flowery that I couldn't figure out what the author was trying to say. The characters no longer seemed real and relatable but what really broke the camel's back for me was the last few pages. No spoilers here just disappointment. That said I guess I have to give it two stars for the simple fact that it exists- I am glad that Ray Bradbury created a sequel to Dandelion Wine- this just didn't measure up to it.
